有没有试过第一次听到一首歌就爱上它？

不久前，经过一间CD店，它正在播着一首歌。
一听便是深深爱上了。
虽然不知道它的歌名，但却认得阿妹得天独厚的嗓音。
回到家，我碰碰运气上网找找。我找到了。

It was hubby's birthday last Sunday, but we had an earlier celebration on Saturday, as Saturday always seem much hopeful to us.
It is not easy for hubby every year, and he needs to crack his brain before he knows the suprise. :P
So before everything get started, let's BRAINSTORM (one of the words i hate most).
Hubby got to receive a clue everyday 1 week before his birthday, and by Saturday he will need to arrange them out into a sentence. Hubby must be anxious to know as he guessed the answer pretty fast!
Dinner at Sheraton Tower! Without further delay, we set off to our destination and were delighted to be seated near the man-made waterfall.
The ambience was classy and soothing. We were checking out the buffet line when we noticed the waitor placed some smoky stuff on our table.
me: eh what is this? I don't think we ordered.
Waiter: oh this Seafood Platter comes with the buffet for every table.
Struggling to hide my grin, i sat and explored the Seafood Platter, with white smoke oozing out in the centre from the dry ice. It included generous portion of crayfish, prawns, mussels and jellyfish. It was served cold, which was not something we usually like. Trying to be innovative, we dropped those very fresh crayfish and friends into the hot Ginseng Chicken soup, taken from the buffet. And the results was Superb!!
We noticed the rise of Pasta section in more and more buffet nowadays. Seems like this is the 'in' thing. It was very interesting to me watching the chefs cooking such a mini serving of pasta. And i really appreciated the small portion, so that we could save our appetite for a lot more delicacies.
Though the buffet wasn't very diverse in the choices, the dinner was still fulfilling as it was another new place we tried out.
Toward the end of the dinner, a very satisfied hubby was playing with his dessert while i took a shot of him wearing his birthday present. :D

Since the first mtv hubby made for our Hokkaido honeymoon trip, we decided that this is a good way to remember our trips. If picture speaks a thousand words, then moving pictures should be at least a few words more? :P

Lately, my life revolves around work and never-ending assignments. I really thought I will appear in black & white mode as my life has no colours.
Few weeks back, I was walking back home along the usual path, when I spotted a few "very happy" cows scattered randomly on the empty field beside my house. I stopped for a few minutes, just to look at them.
Yesterday, it was just a plain piece of lifeless grassland. And today, it suddenly look so much better. Although the flat 2-Dimenion cows couldn't roam around or do much, but they just liven up the whole place.
It was not my first time seeing these famous cows, who went around occupying empty lands, but it was really my first time taking a closer and longer look at them. Usually it was just brief encounter while travelling in car, and very often I did not give a second thoughts about them.
Some give silly grins, some with straws in their mouths, and some others stick out their tongues.
Somehow, they just made me very happy too. :)
On any other days, I would have swear under the hot sun while walking this long, boring, shelter-less path.
But this day, I'm rather glad taking this same old path, with the accompaniment of a few new members.
So actually, happiness can be simple, i learnt.

最近重返校园后，经常接触到大量的文学作品。日前，我读到了尤今的《逃伞记》。她说人们常丢失雨伞，不是因为善忘。是因为雨伞价廉，所以主人心里根本没有它。又或者是雨伞心知不受重视，所以自行逃走了。
我赞成雨伞的决定。既然不受重视，何必留在主人旁边？雨伞也有属于自己的一片天，它应该拥有被珍惜的权利。
我在周围看到许多主人和雨伞。
有些雨伞已悄然离开，为自己找寻雨季，为懂得珍惜的主人遮风挡雨。
有些雨伞比较胆怯。虽然面对随时被丢失的命运，还是愿意贴着主人。
有些雨伞比较不幸。主人已经忘记它了，但它还没找到新主人，不能尽雨伞的责任，只能孤独地躺在一个角落。
我不是主人，也不是雨伞。
我是路过的云层，为被丢失的雨伞，散下一阵细雨，以慰籍它们失落的心，也提醒主人自己所遗失的。

Life never stop moving, and we all move around when we reach different stages of our lives. Not too long ago, my colleagues were giving me hugs and pats on shoulder, wishing me the best for my new challenges ahead. Now, it was my turn.
Pearl, considerably the noisiest in the office, was bidding us farewell. Often heard before she was being seen (she likes to run in the office with loud heavy footsteps), she has the greatest love for her students, and is one of my dearest colleagues, who is always ready to help and advise.
Waving my hands at her, I'm happy for her new future, though the office without her is undeniably much quiet and perhaps lost a little warmth. On her last day, it wouldn't do if there wasn't any photos snapping going around.
And we even dragged in cleaner auntie to join us!
After saying goodbye to my dear colleague, hubby and I were delighted to witness a newly-wed couple born in a cozy, lush greenery. A sweet and simple solemnization held over the last Saturday, we had the honour to receive the sweet couple as they declare their vow to each other.
The afternoon passed quickly as we engrossed ourselves in the lovely ceremony, coupled with savory bites, and bubbles (lots of them). Thumbs up for the chicken pies! And we had some fun jotting down blessing words for the couple and taking some polaroids.
Events come and go, they never end. Be it sad or happy, they are part of our lives, and i believe that looking forward to each of them will somehow, enrich us in a good way.

While work and studies squeezed me up like a piece of tuna sandwich, I have to keep adding spices into my life to make it more hopeful. All work and no fun is definitely not healthy. And all the non-stop typing in office, and assignments after assignments are turning my life greyish. I need COLOURS.
Spices need not be expensive. They don't have to be rare either. When normal shopping therapy becomes too unattainable for a part-timer like me, I excitedly spent my dollars on some necessities, that are not needed daily. Like . . . . umbrella? :D and quite a vain one too.
Though not needed daily, it has to tag along with me everyday. Stripes, dots, monotone, are not spicy enough. And this city girl in Paris lookalike, seems to do just well.
As i was thinking why there wasn't any rain these few days (so that i can use my new umbrella), I put my hands into work too. I managed to stay away from the technology savvy stuffs and stepped back to basic, which is woodcraft! After getting my fingers with peelings all over, a rather satisfied me was giving it some colours. oh COLOURS!
And finally, it was done! A baby pram for my good friend who was busy preparing for her baby girl's birthday party.
A simple buy for myself. A little gift from my heart.
All these are just to cheer up my days, so that there is always a reason, to keep myself going.

一年复一年。
屈指一算，已第四个年头。我依旧坐在同一张桌子后面。
在五彩缤纷的新版乐谱后端，是这张同样的脸孔。
依旧不变的，是不算精彩但还不至于沉闷的工作；一群体力永远用不尽的青年；还有一些熟悉的面孔。
改变的是，一些人与人的关系；是愿意尽心力但还漂浮不定的心；当然还有一些面孔是新鲜陌生的。
年复一年中兜兜转转，阅读着被保留的，被遗忘的，变的，不变的。
虽然不知道还可以兜转多几回，但可以看到人事的缓缓变迁，也算是一种独自可享的乐趣。
周围的喧闹包围着孤独的我，我心却宁静像湖水。

Lately, I have been seeing flying dots in my eyes. It appears to be like a very small clump of fur, and it will move away when I try to see it. It becomes more obvious if I'm looking at some lights or white area. After being traumatized by my mama, I decided to do some research myself.
My mama: " When you start to age, you will get to see these dots. I see them all the time . . "
GULP.
Refusing to be convinced so easily, I'm determined to find out some medical facts.
After a few tries at the search engine, I managed to dig out some info.
EYE FLOATERS . . . .
Apparently, many people may experience seeing eye floaters, but most of them didn't see them as much of a bother. Most floaters are considered harmless, though in the case of sudden appearance of many floaters, it will still be best to consult a doctor.
Feeling slightly more relieved, I started to figure out why would I see floaters. Though this is quite common for a short-sighted person, I still want to think that it is due to me being too diligent and study too much recently. :P
If I have any problem of sleepless nights, reading my study notes will definitely cure it. With only 1 month into my school life, rushing assignments before I know what is going on, I'm already seeing floaters.
Now, what else will I be seeing soon? Perhaps Floaters rain . . . ?
Then sooner or later, you will see me with wipers on my eyes.

几夜前，我做了个梦。
梦里，我和大肚扬历险记，需夺取某个宝物，却有只黑色凶猛，眼睛发出绿光的超大黑龙守护着宝物。
几次夺物都失败，每次还被大黑龙追个半死。
我们身边有只体形很小的小白龙。它只到我的腰间。它像是我们的宠物，一直伴随着我们。
小白龙很可爱，但它即胆小又爱哭。 它很容易害怕，有什么事，它躲起来的速度简直是一瞬间的事。
然而，胆小爱哭的小白龙看见我们屡战屡败，它既然独自一龙夺取宝物，还真让它给夺到了！
大黑龙和小白龙展开追逐战。大黑龙猛追小白龙，也不会因为是同类就给点面子。
突然，小白龙变大了，变得和大黑龙一样大！
黑白双龙展翅在空中搏斗。小白龙的凶猛一点也不会逊给大黑龙。
小白龙嘴里会喷出烈火，有时还吐出有爪的铁链。
双龙之战还没分出胜负，我已经醒了。即使在睡回去，也不可能有下回分解。毕竟这也不是连续剧。

我跟大肚扬细说了这个梦，让他帮忙解一解。
伤了伤脑筋，他终于有点头绪。
~ 对了啦！你就是梦里的小白龙！~
大肚扬说我没事的时候，看起来就似乎柔弱没什么用。但如果惹火了老娘，我真的会喷火。
听起来，似乎蛮有道理。
